M S Thakral Metal Store sits at WP 477 in Shiv Market, which is part of Phase 1 in Ashok Vihar. If you are coming from Qutab Road, we are not far at all. The shop is usually full of various metal pieces and stacks of supplies. It is a heavy environment, with the sound of metal clanking and the smell of iron in the air most of the time. We have been here in Shiv Market for a good while, and the neighbors all know us by now. The space isn’t very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack things so people can still walk through. It gets a bit dusty because of all the activity in the market, but that is just how it is around here. We spend a lot of our day moving stuff around and checking the stock. The front of the store stays open to the street so we can easily load things for people. It is a busy part of Ashok Vihar, especially in the mornings when everyone is setting up their shops. We usually have a small tea break around mid-morning, sitting on some crates near the entrance. The building itself is quite old and has seen a lot of seasons. We don't bother much with making it look pretty because the work we do is messy and practical. People come to us because they know where we are located and they know we have what they need.
