Krishna Creations

We are located up on the first floor at 4578 in Mahavir Bazar. Being in the cloth market means it is always loud and crowded downstairs. You have to push through the crowd sometimes just to get to the stairs. Once you get up here, it’s a bit calmer, but not by much. We have stacks of material piled up against the walls. Some of it has been there for a week, some just arrived today. The ceiling is a bit low, so it can feel a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock. We spend our days measuring and folding. My hands are usually dry from handling all the fabric. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the number on the door. People who know the market find us easily enough. It gets quite warm in the summer months because the air doesn't move much in this building. We use a couple of small fans to keep cool. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting rolls and packing bags. We don't have any fancy sales pitches. If someone likes what they see, they buy it. We've known the other shopkeepers in the bazar for years. We all just try to get through the day. It's a busy life but it keeps us moving. That's how it goes here at Krishna Creations every single day.
