We are over in the Wazirpur Industrial Area, specifically at B-71/3. Khazanchi Steels Pvt. Ltd. & Steelware India has been a fixture here for quite a while. If you know Wazirpur, you know it’s all about steel and manufacturing. The roads are often dusty and there’s always a truck trying to squeeze past a small car. Our unit is pretty standard for the area. We have stacks of steel sheets and various steelware items taking up most of the floor space. It’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know your way around. We don't really have a marketing team or anyone to make things look pretty. It’s just a place of work. The guys on the floor know their stuff and they’ve been handling metal for most of their lives. We handle a lot of bulk orders, so things are constantly moving in and out. It gets loud with all the clanging of metal, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes we have to shout just to be heard over the noise. It’s not a place for a quiet conversation. We just focus on getting the steel out the door. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, everyone is pretty tired. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just providing what people need from a steel supplier. It’s an honest way to make a living in a tough industrial neighborhood.
