Khanna Trading Co

You will find Khanna Trading Co at 21 Chawri Bazar. We are right opposite the ICICI Bank, which is a good landmark because this street is incredibly crowded every single day. Chawri Bazar is famous for all sorts of hardware, and we have been part of it for a long time. Our shop is not very large, but we pack a lot into it. There are wooden shelves going all the way to the ceiling. We mostly deal in trading goods that local businesses need for their daily operations. It is a lot of walking back and forth and talking to different suppliers. The rickshaws outside never stop honking. It can get a bit overwhelming if you are not used to the noise. We keep our door open to the street to let the air in. Inside, it is a bit cooler but still pretty dusty. We have a small desk where the accounts are managed manually. Most of our customers are people we have known for decades. They often stop by for a chat even if they do not need to buy anything that day. We drink plenty of water and tea to get through the afternoon heat. There is no marketing department here. We just know what we have in stock and what the current price is. It is very straightforward. We close up when the sun goes down and the market starts to quiet a little. Tomorrow, we come back and do it again.
