K R Udhyog

K R Udhyog is located up on the second floor of Plot No.A-222/1 in Derawal Nagar. It’s right behind Vinayak Hospital, so if you find the hospital, you’ve basically found our building. Being on the second floor means we have to carry everything up the stairs, which keeps us moving all day. The office is tucked away near Model Town. It’s not a very big space, just a couple of rooms where we manage our business affairs and handle the paperwork. We spend most of the day on the phone or working through files at our desks. It gets a bit noisy from the street below, especially with all the hospital traffic and ambulances nearby. We don’t have a big sign outside, just a small one by the entrance. The light in the office is okay during the day, but we keep the tube lights on anyway to see the fine print. Sometimes people get a bit lost looking for the specific building since there are so many similar ones in this part of Derawal Nagar. We’ve been in this building for some time now. It feels like home even though it’s just a place of work. We usually have some tea around four o’clock and look out at the rooftops of the neighboring houses. It’s a quiet way to run things. We don’t go for anything flashy or expensive in the office setup. It’s just desks, chairs, and the work that needs to be finished.
