Jute N Fabrics

Jute N Fabrics is located at 1708 S.P. Mukherjee Marg, right behind the Novelty Fire Station in Pili Kothi. It is a bit of an old-school area and finding us sometimes involves navigating through the busy streets near the fire station. Once you get to Pili Kothi, you’ll see our place at 1708. We have a lot of stuff packed into this space. It’s filled with the smell of jute and different kinds of textiles. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that; it’s mostly just shelves and stacks reaching up to the ceiling. It can be a bit dusty sometimes because of all the natural fibers we handle, but that’s just part of the job at Jute N Fabrics. We spend our days sorting through materials and helping people find what they need. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. The noise from S.P. Mukherjee Marg is always there in the background, but we don’t mind it much anymore. We’ve been here long enough that it just feels like home. We aren’t interested in being some big, polished company. We are just a local shop in Pili Kothi trying to do right by the people who come in. There’s always a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around, but we keep the place running as best as we can. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living and we like the neighborhood vibe here.
