You can find Johnson International at 165-166, right inside the Jamna Mill near the Clock Tower in Subzi Mandi. The Clock Tower is a big landmark, so it’s hard to miss the general area. Subzi Mandi is always full of life, especially early in the morning. It’s loud, it’s messy, and it’s very real. We’ve been operating from this spot inside the mill premises for quite some time. The building is old and has a lot of history to it. Our space is just a part of that. It’s not a modern office building with glass and chrome. It’s brick and mortar and a bit of dust. We handle international stuff from here, which feels funny sometimes considering the local setting outside. We have our desks set up and we just get on with it. The fans hum all day long. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes. Sometimes we have to move things around to make space for new arrivals. It’s a bit of a squeeze. We like being in Subzi Mandi because it feels connected to the city. There’s no pretense here. Mostly we just work, drink our chai, and handle our business. If you come by, you’ll see us busy with papers or on the phone. It’s a simple life and a simple way of doing things. We just keep moving forward with our daily tasks.
