Indus Flavour

We are located at 2510 Hudson Lane in Kingsway Camp. Being so close to the university, we are usually surrounded by students. It’s a very lively area with a lot of energy. Our place is purely vegetarian, so we go through a lot of vegetables and lentils every single day. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic with pots banging and the sound of the pressure cooker. We spend a lot of time prepping ingredients because once the lunch rush starts, there is no time to stop. The tables are close together, so it gets quite loud with everyone talking at once. We’ve been here for a while and we have seen the street change quite a bit. We try to keep our prices fair because we know most of our customers are on a budget. Sometimes we run out of a popular dish by the evening, and we just have to tell people we’re out. It’s a simple setup with basic wooden chairs and some lights. We aren't trying to be a fancy restaurant. We’re just a busy kitchen in a student neighborhood. Our staff is usually running around trying to keep up with the orders. It’s a lot of work and our feet are usually tired by the time we close. But it’s a good spot and we like the people who come in to eat.
