We started Herbs And Flavours Private Limited right here in Chandni Chowk. Kucha Ghashi Ram is a tight spot and finding our building at number 320 can be a bit of a challenge if you aren't used to these narrow lanes. Most days we are just moving sacks around or checking the inventory in our small storage area. It gets really dusty around here especially in the hot afternoons when everyone is out on the street. The address is 320 and we are right in the thick of the market madness. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit there in the dark waiting for it to come back on. It is definitely not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a place where we do the work with herbs and different flavors every single day. The neighbors are mostly doing the same thing as us. You hear the rickshaws and the loaders outside all the time. It is noisy and there is never enough space for parking anything nearby. We have been at this for a while now. Most of the staff comes from nearby areas or takes the metro to get here. We keep the registers on an old wooden desk that has seen better days. There is a small tea stall just down the lane where we get our morning chai. It is just real life here in this part of Delhi.
