We’ve been here at Rana Pratap Bagh for a good while now. B-5 is where we keep all our stuff, like the tents, the lights, and those big cooking pots we use for parties. It really started out with just catering for small family gatherings around the neighborhood. Then people started asking if we could handle the flowers and the stage decorations too, so we just added that to what we do. It’s a family thing through and through. My uncle usually handles everything in the kitchen while I look after the workers setting up the tents and the seating. It gets really hectic during the wedding season, honestly. Sometimes we are working through the night just to get a site ready for the morning. We don't have a glossy office or anything, just our workspace here. We focus mostly on getting the food right because that's what people remember most at any event. If the snacks are cold or the salt is off, it kind of ruins the whole night. We try to be very careful with that part. We know most of the families in this area by now. It’s nice when someone comes back to us for their second child’s wedding after we did the first one years ago. We just keep things straightforward and do what we promised at the start. It’s hard work, moving all that heavy equipment around, but we enjoy seeing the final setup when the lights finally go on.
