Our shop is in Rohini Sector 8, D-14/146. It’s a small corner spot. We mostly book train tickets and flights for people in the neighborhood. It’s a lot of sitting in front of the computer waiting for the IRCTC website to load. People come in asking about vacation packages or just how to get to the airport. We have a lot of old brochures sitting on the desk. Sometimes the printer jams when we’re trying to print out a boarding pass. It’s just the way it goes here. We’ve been in this part of Rohini for years. Everyone knows my father or me. We don't do fancy advertising. People just walk in because they saw the sign. We talk about where they want to go and what their budget is. It’s simple work, but it takes time to get the timings right. We deal with visa papers too, which is a lot of stapling and checking boxes. Sometimes we stay open late if someone needs a ticket for the next morning. It’s not a big company, just a local travel desk. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for bookings to confirm. It gets noisy with the traffic outside on the main road. We just keep doing our thing, one ticket at a time. The neighbors often stop by just to chat about their previous trips. It feels more like a community spot than a serious office. We keep the fan running all day and hope the electricity doesn't go out. It gets very hot in the afternoons, but we have a good cooler.
