Shub Manglam

We’ve been here at the ground floor in Shora Kothi for a while now. It’s right by the Clock Tower in Kamla Nagar, so it’s always busy with students from Delhi University walking past. Usually, the morning starts with opening up the shutters and getting things organized before the first person walks in. The space isn't huge, but it works for what we do. People around here know the landmark well, so finding us isn't usually a problem unless the traffic is really bad, which it often is around this part of North Delhi. Some days are quieter than others. We mostly just focus on getting the daily tasks done and making sure everything is in its place. The building itself is an older one, typical for this neighborhood. You can hear the noise from the street all day long. It's just part of being near the university. We spend a lot of time just managing the inventory and talking to whoever comes through the door. Sometimes people stop in just to ask for directions since the Clock Tower is right there. It’s a lively spot to be in. We don't really have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run like they should. Nothing fancy, just a regular day-to-day operation in a busy market area. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the place over the years. It feels like home now, even with all the shouting and car horns outside.
