God Father

You can find us at shop 206 inside Palika Bazaar over in Hauz Qazi. If you’ve ever been to this market, you know it can be a real maze. We’ve been tucked away in this spot for years. It’s a basement market, so we don't get any natural sunlight, but we are used to the bright lights and the constant noise of the crowds. God Father is just the name on the sign; really, it's just a few of us working hard every day. We get all sorts of people coming through here, from tourists to locals who have been shopping in Hauz Qazi their whole lives. The space is a bit tight, but we make it work by stacking things high. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or polished brochures. Most of our business comes from people just wandering through the bazaar and stopping in because they like what they see. Sometimes the air conditioning in the market acts up, but we just keep going. It’s a busy life being in a place like Palika Bazaar. We enjoy the energy of the market even when it gets overwhelming. We don't have a complicated story. We just show up, open the shop, and talk to whoever walks in. It’s a straightforward business and we plan on staying here at number 206 for a long time.
