If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded it gets with all the metal shops and hardware stores. Our place is tucked away in one of those narrow lanes where you really have to know where you’re going. We deal in various metals and the tools that go with them. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around in a small space. We have been at this address for a long time. The building is old and the stairs are steep, but it works for us. We start our day early before the crowds get too thick. There is no air conditioning or fancy furniture here. We just have our ledgers and our stock. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the metal scraps and crates, but we know where everything is kept. We don’t spend time on fancy speeches or marketing. We just talk to the people who walk through the door and try to help them out with what they need for their projects. It’s a busy, dusty life in the heart of the market, and we are quite used to it by now. Most of our regulars are like friends after all these years of doing business together. We just keep our heads down and keep working.
