Global Automation

Our shop is Number C-5 in the local shopping complex over in Vivekanand Puri. It is right near the Sarai Rohilla police station, which is a good landmark for people who are trying to find us for the first time. The complex is a bit old, and the stairs can be a little steep if you are carrying heavy parts. We deal with automation stuff, so the shelves are packed with sensors, wires, and little metal components that we have to keep track of. It is a small space, so we have to be very careful about where we put things or we lose them. The light in the back of the shop flickers a bit, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Most of the day is spent answering the phone or helping people who walk in from the Sarai Rohilla neighborhood looking for a specific part for their machinery. We drink a lot of coffee from the machine across the hall. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly involving checking manuals and testing out different pieces of equipment on the workbench. The shopping complex gets busy in the evenings when the other stores open up, but during the day, it is mostly just us and the shopkeepers next door. We have been in this spot for a few years and have gotten used to the rhythm of the local market and the trains passing nearby.
