Ganga Steels

You can find us at A-140 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. Ganga Steels is right in the middle of all the factories and big warehouses. It’s a pretty loud place to work, with the constant sound of metal clanging and heavy trucks idling outside the gate. The air always smells a bit like oil and cold iron. We have a big metal shutter that stays open most of the day so we can get the heavy stuff moved in and out without much trouble. The floor is made of thick concrete and has plenty of cracks from the weight of the steel we handle every day. We don’t have much in the way of a fancy office, just a small wooden cabin in the corner with a desk and a couple of old stools. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, but we have some big industrial fans that help a little bit. We spend most of our time checking the inventory and making sure the loads are ready for the transport trucks. It’s hard work, and our clothes usually get pretty dirty and greasy by the end of the shift. We don’t do much talking unless it’s about the specific work at hand. Wazirpur is a busy hub, and we’re just one of many units trying to keep things moving along. We’ve been here long enough that we know the routine like the back of our hands. It’s just honest, heavy work for us every single day.
