You can find us at KH No 24/22 on the ground floor over in Shahbad Extension. We are right near Aggarwal Estate in the Daulatpur Phase 2 area. It is a busy part of the city with a lot of small businesses like ours. We spend our days making different kinds of apparel. The workshop is usually a bit of a mess with fabric rolls everywhere and people moving back and forth between the machines. It is just a regular group of us working here. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just focus on the clothes. We spend a lot of time checking the needles and making sure the thread tension is right. If it isn't, the whole batch can get ruined, so we have to be careful. The ground floor spot is handy for moving boxes in and out, but it also means we get a lot of street noise and dust coming in. We don't mind it much. It is just part of being in Shahbad. We have been doing this for a bit now and we have a routine that works for us. Most of the time we are just worried about meeting deadlines and making sure we don't run out of supplies. It is a practical, hands-on way to make a living. We aren't doing anything fancy, just making clothes that people need and trying to do a fair job of it.
