Fashions Zephyr

Fashions Zephyr is tucked away in Chandni Chowk, up in Office No. 5047 on Rehman Street. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how tight the lanes are. It is always a bit of a squeeze getting through the crowds to reach the door. We spend most of our hours surrounded by piles of samples and stacks of paper. The building is old, and the stairs are narrow, so we don't move around more than we have to. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We handle a lot of the fashion logistics from this small room. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, and we just wait it out or use the emergency light. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. There are just desks, a couple of chairs that have seen better days, and a lot of fabric swatches everywhere. We know the neighbors pretty well since we see them every day in the hallway. Lunch usually comes from one of the stalls downstairs because the food smells too good to ignore. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. The street noise never really stops until very late at night. We have been here a long time and the routine stays pretty much the same. It is a busy life, but it works for us.
