Our place is on the second floor at 3173, Sui Wali Gali. If you know Ram Bazar in Mori Gate, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes are. Sui Wali Gali is no different. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us, but that’s where we do all our manufacturing. Being in the heart of Mori Gate means we are right in the middle of all the trade action. There are always handcarts and scooters zipping past downstairs. Up here, it’s a bit more focused. We have our machines set up in a way that makes the most of the limited space. The building is old, like most things in this part of town, but it’s sturdy. We make small industrial parts mostly. The noise of the machines fills the room, and sometimes you can hear the sounds of the market drifting up from the street. It’s not the easiest place to move large quantities of goods in and out of, but we’ve developed a system over the years. We know the other shop owners on the lane, and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoon. It is a traditional way of working, I suppose. We don't have a lot of fancy technology in the office, just what is necessary to get the orders processed and the goods shipped out.
