Deepali Steel

You can find us at Wazirpur Industrial Area Main Road C 18. It is a big area with lots of factories. We have a lot of steel sitting around. Some of it is in sheets and some in rods. It is heavy work and we are always wearing boots. The main road is always full of big trucks. They make a lot of noise and blow smoke everywhere. We have a small office in the corner where we keep the papers. The rest of the space at C 18 is just for the material. When the sun hits the steel it gets very bright and hot. We spend our days moving things from one side to the other. Deepali Steel has been here for years. We know most of the people on this road. Sometimes the tea boy comes by and we take a break. Otherwise, it is just the sound of metal hitting metal. We don't do much advertising. People just know where we are because of the address. It is a dusty place but that is just how the industrial area is. We don't have a lot of furniture, just what is needed to get the work done. The gates are usually open early in the morning. We stay until the last truck is loaded for the day. It is just basic work every single day. We don't use fancy computers for everything, just some notebooks and pens.
