Classic Steels

Classic Steels is located right in the middle of the bustle in Sadar Bazar, specifically in the Deputy Ganj area. If you have ever been to this part of Delhi, you know how crowded and narrow the lanes can be. We spend our days surrounded by metal, handling various steel items that come in and go out to different parts of the city. The noise of carts clicking on the pavement and people shouting orders is just part of the background for us. We keep the shop open early because that is when the main movement happens in the market. It is a lot of physical work, moving heavy bundles and making sure the counts are right. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the place look pretty; it is a warehouse and a shop meant for utility. The walls are lined with shelves that hold everything we stock, and there is always a layer of dust that comes with being in such a busy trading hub. We have been in Deputy Ganj long enough to know the regular loaders and the other traders by name. It is a tough environment but there is a certain rhythm to it that we like. When someone walks in looking for specific steel grades or household items, we just point them to the right stack and get the billing done on an old wooden desk. It is just how things work here every single day.
