Chuski Tea

You can find Chuski Tea over at Shop No. 1440 and 1441 in the Chliti Qabar Market. We’re tucked away in that busy area near Jama Masjid and the Red Fort. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are narrow and always full of life. We have two shop units side by side to give us enough room for all the tea we handle. It gets very crowded on the weekends with all the tourists and locals visiting the Fort. We start our day early, usually before the heat gets too bad. The market has a smell of spices and old buildings that we really like. It’s not the easiest place to drive a car, so most people come on foot or by rickshaw. Our shops are pretty simple inside, just shelves and counters. We don’t have fancy lights or big logos. People know us because we’ve been here in Chliti Qabar for a bit. Sometimes the monkeys from the nearby trees cause a bit of trouble on the roofs, which is just part of living in this part of town. We spend a lot of time weighing out tea and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a noisy, hectic place to work, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The history of the area is right outside our door. We just focus on the tea and getting the orders ready.
