Chokhey Lal Fashion is right in the heart of the old city at 1879, Mata Wali Gali. If you’ve ever been to Nai Sarak or the Cheera Khana area, you know exactly how packed and lively it gets. Our place is tucked into one of those narrow lanes where the history of Delhi really feels alive. It’s a far cry from the modern malls. We deal with traditional fashion, and our space is filled to the ceiling with rolls of cloth and finished pieces. The walls are a bit old, and the stairs are narrow, but this building has been our base for a long time. Every morning, the shutters go up and the whole street starts buzzing with activity. It’s noisy, dusty, and absolutely wonderful in its own way. We don't have a marketing team or a fancy website; we just rely on the people who have known us for years. My uncle sits at the front desk, and he remembers almost everyone who walks through the door. We spend a lot of time drinking chai and talking to the other shopkeepers about the market trends. It’s a tight-knit community here in Mata Wali Gali. Even when it’s raining and the lanes get a bit messy, we’re still here doing our thing.
