Century Steels

Our place, Century Steels, is located at Number-S-52 in Jaisav Place. If you know the area, it is right at 5008 in Bazar Sirkiwalan, over in Houz Quazi. It is a very old and crowded part of the city, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. The building at Jaisav Place has been around for a long time. Our shop isn't very big, so we have to be clever about how we stack the steel. We have piles of metal everywhere, and sometimes it feels like we are running out of room. But we always manage to find what someone is looking for. Working in Houz Quazi means you get to see a lot of different people every day. We usually start early before the bazaar gets too packed with shoppers and carts. It is a bit of a struggle to get trucks through these narrow streets, but we have a system that works. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we know the steel business inside out. We don't use much technology; we prefer writing things down in our ledgers and talking to people face to face. It feels more personal that way.
