Bhahvesh Iron Store

Bhahvesh Iron Store is located on the ground floor at Shop No. 534 in Kucha Pati Ram. We are right in the middle of the Sita Ram Bazar area, not too far from the main part of Chawri Bazar. It is a very old part of the city, and the building we are in has a lot of history. The shop itself is quite deep, and we keep all the heavy iron towards the back. Because we are on the ground floor, it is easier to move the heavy stuff, but it’s still a lot of physical work every day. The air is always thick with the smell of iron and the street outside is never quiet. There are always street vendors calling out and the sound of bells from the nearby rickshaws. We have a small desk near the entrance where we sit to handle the accounts, but most of our time is spent helping load or unload materials. It’s a dusty environment, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. We know the regulars who come by, and we usually have time for a quick chat about the weather or the local news. It’s a very simple operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on keeping the stock organized and serving the people who come through the door.
