Auto Engineering Industries

Our workshop is located at 2423 / 29 Shardhanand Marg, right in the thick of Chandni Chowk. Auto Engineering Industries is mostly about grease, metal, and fixing things that broke. It’s noisy out here on the street, and it’s just as noisy inside most of the time. We have been handling mechanical parts and engineering work for a good number of years. The walls are stained with oil, and there are tools everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s not a showroom. It’s a place where work gets done. Most of the guys here have dirty hands by ten in the morning. We deal with various engine components and industrial bits that most people wouldn't recognize. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a part is stubborn or the machine is old. We don't mind. We just keep at it until it's right. People come to us from all over the city because they know we’ve been at this address forever. Dealing with the traffic in Chandni Chowk is the hardest part of the day, honestly. Once you get inside the shop, it’s just about the metal and the measurements. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising. Word of mouth usually brings people through the door. We just focus on the lathe machines and the orders we have to finish. It’s honest, heavy work and it keeps us fed.
