Our office is located at 216 on the second floor in Gali Laharan. If you are coming by the metro, it is quite close to the Ajmeri Gate station. The lanes around here are very narrow and they are always packed with people, carts, and rickshaws. It is one of the oldest parts of the city for hardware and metal trades. Our building is quite old and the stairs are very narrow, so moving anything large can be a real challenge for us. We have been in this spot for years and we know most of the other shopkeepers in the Gali. The office itself is small and stays quite busy throughout the day. We deal with a lot of walk-in customers and we also take plenty of orders over the phone. There is always the sound of metal clanging or people shouting to each other outside in the market. It is definitely not a quiet place to work, but we like being right in the middle of all the action. We have stacks of metal samples and tools everywhere you look in the room. It is a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We do not spend much time worrying about the appearance of the office. We are more concerned with making sure we have the specific tools people are looking for. The tea guy comes around every couple of hours, which is always the best part of the afternoon. We just focus on getting through the tasks.
