Ashu General Store

The store is right at Shop Number 3 in the Outram Lines area of Kingsway Camp. Most people know it because it is directly opposite New Life Hospital. It’s a busy spot since there are always folks coming and going from the hospital. Some are looking for a quick snack while they wait, and others need basic things for their homes. We keep the shelves stocked with whatever usually sells. There are pens, notebooks, some biscuits, and the usual household items people run out of. The shop isn't very big, but we try to fit everything in. Sometimes the morning delivery of bread or milk comes late, and we just have to wait for the truck. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when kids are coming back from school. We’ve been here for a while now, and we know most of the faces that walk in. It’s a simple life. We open early and close late enough for the people working the late shifts. There is always a bit of dust because of the traffic on the main road, but we wipe the counters down when we can. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or anything, just a regular shop where you can find what you need without a fuss. We have some plastic stools outside for anyone who needs a quick rest. The sign is a bit old, but it still says the name clearly enough for anyone walking by. It is just a normal neighborhood shop.
