Our business, Arnace Garments Private Limited, is based at 1892/12-A on the ground floor in Hari Ram Market. This market is part of the larger Bhagirath Palace area. It’s a very old and famous part of Delhi. The ground floor spot is essential because the market is so crowded that moving anything to an upper floor would be a nightmare. Hari Ram Market is always full of people looking for something. We spend our time surrounded by stacks of garments and the smell of the market. It’s a very traditional way of doing business here. We don't use much technology besides what we absolutely need for the records. The space is small and every inch is used for storing something. Bhagirath Palace is known for being one of the busiest trading hubs, and being tucked away in 1892/12-A means we are right in the center of the action. We know the other shopkeepers around us and we often share tea in the afternoons. It’s a dusty, loud, and energetic place to work.
