Our place is at Plot No. 840 along Narela Road in Alipur. We deal with steel, so there’s always the sound of metal moving around and trucks backing in. It’s a rugged environment, not like an office job at all. We spend the day handling rods, sheets, and whatever else comes through the gates. The yard is usually a bit messy, but we know where everything is. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few workers and myself keeping things running. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. If people need steel for their project, they usually just drive down Narela Road and find us. We get a lot of local builders and people doing their own renovations. Sometimes the sun is beating down on the metal and it gets really hot, but we just keep at it. We aren't trying to be the biggest steel yard in the country, just a reliable spot for the people around Alipur. It’s hard work, lifting and loading, and you definitely get your hands dirty every day. We’ve been at this plot for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood grow quite a bit. It’s satisfying to see the steel we sell going into the foundations of new buildings nearby. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep enough stock for whoever shows up at the gate.
