Anand Enterprises is situated at 2287/2 in Ambay Market. This is right inside the Lajpat Rai Market area in Chandni Chowk, so you can imagine the chaos outside our door every single day. We are surrounded by history and a whole lot of trade. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where we keep our stock and handle our business. We deal with a lot of different things depending on what our customers are looking for that week. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze inside the market, and sometimes getting a delivery through the narrow lanes is a real headache. We have had to learn how to navigate the crowds just to get a cup of tea or meet a supplier. Most of us here grew up around this kind of environment, so the noise doesn't really bother us anymore. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. There is no corporate ladder here, just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the shelves aren't empty. We don't spend money on big signs or polished websites because that’s not really how things work in Chandni Chowk. You just show up, do the work, and hope the traffic isn't too bad on the way home. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it’s how we have always done things around here.
