Amrit General Store

You’ll find Amrit General Store at A-261 in Majlis Park, right on the Azadpur Main Road. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s a standard general store, nothing too fancy to look at. We stock the usual things people need for their homes, like soap, snacks, and basic kitchen supplies. Every morning starts early, around the time the first buses start running on the main road. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and putting things on the shelves. It’s a small space, so we have to be smart about where everything goes. Some of our customers have been coming here since they were kids. It’s nice to see familiar faces every day. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone needs something, they just walk in and ask. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, and we have to apologize for being out of stock on certain items. It’s just part of running a shop in Azadpur. The traffic outside can be a bit much, but once you’re inside, it’s just a quiet place to get your shopping done. We try to keep things simple and honest. We don’t have a big staff, just family helping out when things get busy. It’s a steady way to live, and we like being a part of Majlis Park. We hope to stay here serving the locals as long as we can.
