You can find Amit Surgicals at B-69 in the Industrial Area off G.T. Karnal Road. It is a busy stretch of road and we are right in the middle of all the other factories and warehouses. We have a decent sized space where we keep all our surgical supplies and equipment. It is a bit cleaner here than some of the other industrial units nearby because of the nature of what we handle. We spend a lot of time checking boxes and making sure everything is labeled correctly before it goes out. The morning starts with a lot of shouting and moving crates around as the delivery vans arrive. It’s a plain brick building with a metal door that sticks sometimes when it rains. We have a small staff who knows exactly where every item is stored in the racks. There is no air conditioning in the main warehouse, so we use big pedestal fans to keep the air moving during the summer months. It gets really loud when the fans are on full blast. We have a small desk near the front where we take orders and handle the paperwork. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. We see a lot of the same drivers every day. Sometimes we have a quick chat while they wait for their loads. It is just a standard operation keeping things moving in the industrial belt.
