Amar Hosiery Private Limited is located at 2118, on the first floor in Gali Ashok. This is right on Bahadur Garh Road in Central Delhi. If you know this area, you know how tight the lanes are. It is a very old part of the city. We have been working out of this spot for quite a while. Hosiery is what we do every day. The machines make a rhythmic sound that we have gotten used to over the years. We spend our time checking socks or undergarments and making sure the packing is done right. The first floor gets a bit of a breeze if we leave the windows open, which is nice. It is a very busy street outside with rickshaws and delivery carts constantly moving. We know most of the other shop owners in Gali Ashok. We share news and sometimes complain about the rain when it floods the road a little. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just want to get the hosiery out on time. It is a family-type atmosphere here, even if we aren't all related. We just work hard and try to stay organized in a small space. It is a bit crowded with stock, but that is just how hosiery businesses in Delhi are. We keep things simple and practical. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big shipment.
