You’ll find our workshop at Aj-4C in Shalimar Bagh. It’s a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. We work with various metals, cutting and shaping them into what people need. The sound of grinders and hammers is pretty constant during our working hours. We started this because we liked making things and had the tools to do it. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about where we stack the sheets and rods. Shalimar Bagh is a familiar place for us, and many of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We aren't some massive factory with robots. It’s just us using our hands and manual machines to get the parts right. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the metal doesn't behave, but we stick with it until it’s done. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, if you come by, you’ll find us out on the floor with our masks on. We keep a pot of tea going and just focus on the task at hand. It’s honest work, and we don’t feel the need to dress it up. People come to us when they need something sturdy built or fixed. We’ve been at Aj-4C for years, and we plan to stay right where we are.
