Alam Electroplating

If you come down to Coolie Bazar, you will find Alam Electroplating at 80/23A in the Main Bazaar area. It is a very busy part of town and there is always something going on right outside our door. We do a lot of electroplating work here, so the shop often smells a bit like chemicals and metal. It’s not a place for someone who likes a quiet office, that’s for sure. We have various tanks and equipment set up in the back to handle the items people bring in. Most of the time, we are busy dipping parts or checking the finish on a batch of metal pieces. The space is a bit tight because of all the equipment, but we make it work. Living and working in Coolie Bazar means we are right in the middle of everything. We know the other shop owners around us and we often share a cup of tea when things quiet down for a minute. The street is narrow, so getting large deliveries can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just do our job and try to keep our customers happy with the work we produce. It is a family thing for us, and we have been at this address for years. You just look for the 80/23A sign in the Main Bazaar and you will see us working away. It’s a lot of manual labor but we don't mind it. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big order that needs to be finished before the morning comes around.
