Aim Cafe

Being at Kingsway Camp G T B Nagar Outram Lines 1611 means we see a lot of students. This area is always moving. Most of our customers are kids from the university who need a place to sit for a bit between their classes. We started Aim Cafe because there was an empty spot here and we thought why not. It’s not a quiet place. There is always music playing or someone talking loudly about their exams. The coffee machine hissed at me this morning, it probably needs a proper cleaning again. We have some old couches that have seen better days, but they’re comfortable enough. The walls are covered in some posters that have been there since we opened. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us taking turns behind the counter. Sometimes we run out of milk and someone has to run to the shop down the street. It happens. We aren't trying to be the most modern place in Delhi. We just want to provide a spot where you can get a decent drink and sit down. The Outram Lines area is pretty nice, especially when the trees are green. We see the same people every day. It feels good when someone remembers your name. We just keep the doors open and see who walks in. It’s a simple life running a cafe in a student hub.
