Our place is at 217 on the Shastri Nagar Main Road. We handle a lot of steel here, so there is always the sound of metal hitting metal. It’s a bit of a rough environment because steel isn’t exactly soft or easy to move around. We have different types of rods and sheets stacked up against the walls. The Shastri Nagar Main Road is pretty active, so we see a lot of people passing by our entrance every day. Most of the time, we are busy measuring out sections or helping load pieces onto a rickshaw or a small truck. It’s not the kind of work where you stay clean, but we don’t mind the grime and the heavy lifting. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years now. People know us as the steel shop near the main road. We don't spend much on decorations or making the office look nice because the focus is always on the inventory we have out back. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several orders come in at the same time, but we just handle them one by one. The sun can make the metal quite hot in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy moving done in the morning hours. It’s just a straightforward business where we sell steel and keep track of our stock at 217. Agarwal Steel Co is just a basic, hardworking shop.
