Sanjay Marble

We are located right near Kali Park in the Rajarhat Gopalpur area. It's a busy spot, and there is always something going on nearby. We have been dealing with marble for quite some time now. Most days are spent moving slabs around and showing people what we have in the yard. Marble is heavy, so we spend a lot of time with the lifting gear and making sure nothing cracks. It’s not a quiet place to work, especially with the traffic outside and the noise of the stones being moved. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just us and the stone. If you come by, you’ll probably find us covered in a bit of white dust from the slabs. That’s just part of the business. People come from all over the local neighborhood when they’re fixing up a floor or a kitchen. We show them the different colors and patterns we have at the moment. Some days we have a lot, other days the stock is a bit lower depending on what’s arrived on the trucks. We keep things pretty simple here. We don’t do much advertising, mostly just folks walking in because they live close by or saw us from the road. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we’ve been at it long enough to know the routine.
