Saikat Marble House

Saikat Marble House is out in Kharibari, which is part of the Sasan police station area near Mudiahat. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which we actually quite like. Out here, things move at a slightly slower pace, but we still keep plenty busy with the marble trade. We have various types of stone stored on-site, and people from the nearby villages and towns come by when they’re building a new house or fixing up an old one. The yard can get a bit muddy when it rains, but that’s just life in the district. We spend a lot of time outside moving the slabs around with the crane or just by hand when we have to. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the day, everyone is usually pretty tired and covered in stone dust. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it’s just a shed and a yard where the real work happens. Most of our customers are people who heard about us from their neighbors or relatives. We just show them the pieces we have, tell them the price, and let them decide. There’s no big talk or fancy promises. We just provide the marble and help load it onto the trucks. It’s a simple way to make a living and it serves the community out here in Sasan without any unnecessary complications.
