Our place is over at 32, Jogendra Nath Ghosal Road in the Ariadaha area of Kolkata. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has that classic look. Inside, though, it’s all about the tiles from Kajaria Ceramics Ltd. We’ve got a lot of stock squeezed into the space. The humidity in Kolkata can be a lot, and it makes the warehouse feel a bit heavy sometimes. We don't have any fancy air conditioning in the main storage area, so we just deal with it. The street outside is usually busy with people and rickshaws. We get a lot of locals walking in just to see what we have. We aren't big on formal talk. We just show people the different patterns and let them feel the tiles. There’s a lot of lifting and carrying involved in what we do. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the ceramics all day. We try to keep things organized, but with so many different styles, it’s a constant struggle.
