Zira Steel House

If you look for C 125 in Sector 9, that is where you will find Zira Steel House. It is just a straightforward shop where we keep the steel stock. There isn't much to the place besides the metal itself and the tools we use to move it around. Sector 9 is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street and people moving about. We spend our mornings moving pieces around to make space for whatever arrived the night before. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is hot outside, which is nice for us. We don't do much in the way of decorating. There are some old chairs for when we need a break and a desk where we keep the logbooks. People stop by because they know we are here in the middle of the sector. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing in because the road gets crowded with other vehicles, but we manage to make it work. It's a lot of lifting and moving heavy stuff, so by the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired and ready to head home. We've got the routine down though. Someone is almost always here from early morning until the sun goes down. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is just written down in the registers. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it has worked for us so far at C 125. We just focus on the steel.
