Banas Metals (India)

We are located at Shop No 12 in Sector 37 and it’s a tight squeeze sometimes. Banas Metals (India) is basically just a few of us working in a space filled with metal bits and pieces. The market area is always buzzing with people looking for one thing or another and we’re right there in the thick of it. It’s the kind of shop where you have to step over things to get to the back and the light isn't always the best. We don't really go for the whole polished look because it wouldn't last five minutes here anyway. Most of our day is spent talking to customers who are looking for specific metal types or just checking on their orders. We’ve been in this sector for a long time and we know the other shop owners pretty well. It’s a good community and we often help each other out when someone is short-staffed or needs a tool. The weather can be a problem when it rains because the water tends to pool up right in front of the door but we’ve got a system for that. We just stay busy and try to keep everything moving. It’s not a complicated business but it takes a lot of patience to deal with the various requests that come through the door every day. We just keep the shop open and take things as they come.
