We are over at B-54 in Sector-8, which is part of the Goutam Budh Nagar district. This area is full of workshops and factories, so there is always a background noise of machines running and metal hitting metal. Our place is no different. We have a lot of raw materials stacked up near the entrance, and the floor is usually covered in a bit of dust and metal shavings. It’s a hard place to keep clean, honestly, no matter how much we sweep. We have been in this building for quite a while, and we know all the quirks of the plumbing and the way the roof leaks just a little bit during the monsoon season. There isn't a lot of space for a proper office, so the desk where we take orders is right next to where the cutting happens. It can get pretty loud, so we often have to shout to be heard over the noise of the grinders. We don't wear suits or anything like that; it’s just jeans and work shirts that usually end up with some grease on them by noon. Most of the guys here have been working with metal their whole lives, so they know the feel of the material. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy brochures for us. We just take the work as it comes and try to get it done right so we can go home. It's a tough job but it's okay.
