Vaibhavi Khana Khazana

Vaibhavi Khana Khazana is over in Sector 64, specifically at C-126/A. This part of the city is very industrial, so we get a lot of workers coming by during their lunch break. The kitchen we work in is quite small and it gets very warm when all the stoves are lit. We mostly cook simple meals that are supposed to remind people of the food they get at home. Nothing we make is too fancy or strange, just basic dishes. My hands are usually covered in flour or spices by the time it is ten in the morning. We don’t have a large staff, just a few of us working hard to get the food ready. Our address is easy enough to find if you know the sector, but sometimes people get a bit lost in the side lanes. We spend a good amount of time cleaning everything at the end of the day because the grease really builds up in a small space. It is a lot of physical work, like chopping bags of vegetables and making sure the rice is cooked just right. We don't use many machines here. Sometimes we run out of things if the day turns out to be busier than we thought. People just take whatever else is available and don't complain. It is a plain shop with some basic seating. We have been here at C-126/A for a while now and we know the neighborhood.
