V S Steels

Working at V S Steels over at H-5 Sector 9 means your hands are almost always a bit dirty. We are located right near Harola Market, which is a place that never really seems to sleep. Our yard is full of steel rods, heavy sheets, and various metal scraps that we keep organized by size and weight. It’s heavy work, and by the end of the day, everyone is usually pretty tired. We don't have a fancy office; it’s mostly just a desk tucked into a corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. The sound of metal hitting metal is the background noise of our lives here. Trucks come in and out through the narrow gates, and it takes some skill to get them parked without hitting anything. People from the local construction sites come by often because they know we have what they need sitting right here. We don't spend much time on talk; we just get the orders loaded up and sent out. The summer heat makes the steel almost too hot to touch, so we wear heavy gloves most of the time. It is a gritty sort of business, but it’s what we know how to do. We’ve been in this Sector 9 spot for a long time now, and we just keep the metal moving from one place to the next. That is about it.
