We have been based out of F-75 in Sector-39 for a good bit of time now. It is a decent enough area, though parking can be a real headache some mornings when everyone is arriving at once. At Tradition Crafts, our space is mostly filled with boxes and raw materials waiting to be turned into something. It is not a polished showroom. You will mostly see people working at benches or packing stuff into crates to be sent off. Sometimes the floor gets a bit cluttered with scraps, but that is just how it goes when you are busy making things. I usually keep a fan running because it gets quite stuffy in the back during the summer months. We do not have a big fancy sign outside, just the address and our name on the door. It feels like a second home to most of us because we spend so many hours here. You might hear the radio playing in the background while someone works on a piece. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we have to track a shipment or check an email. Mostly, it is about using our hands. Sector-39 is a mix of different small businesses, so there is always someone moving stuff around outside. If you walk in, you will probably find me at my desk near the front window, trying to keep the paperwork from flying away. It is a practical place for practical work.
