R K Jewellers & Handicrafts

We have been running this shop in Sab Mall for a good while now. It is tucked away at number 52 B in Sector 27. Most days, it is just us sitting here waiting for the afternoon rush. We have a mix of gold and silver jewelry and a whole section for handicrafts. These are things like small brass figures or carved wood pieces that people buy for their homes. The mall can get a bit noisy on the weekends when families come out, but during the week it is mostly quiet enough to hear the clock ticking. We don't have a big team of salesmen or anything fancy. It is just a small family thing. Sometimes the displays get a bit cluttered because we get new stock in and don't always have the room for it right away. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because finger marks show up so easily. People from around the neighborhood stop in to get a ring resized or maybe look for a gift for a wedding. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique you see in the glossy magazines. This is just a regular shop where we do our work and talk to the people who walk in. It gets hot in the summer when the mall air conditioning struggles, but we manage with a small fan behind the counter. That is pretty much how it goes here every day.
