We are based in Sector 9, at C-74. Our office is up on the second floor. It is a pretty basic setup in a commercial block. We spend our days dealing with exports, which means a lot of coordination with shipping companies and customs agents. It is not a very exciting job, but it keeps us busy. The office has a few desks, some chairs, and a map on the wall. We have been working from this location for quite a few years now. Sector 9 is a good area because we have everything we need nearby, like the bank and the post office. We are a small team, just four or five of us usually. We do not have a big corporate structure. We just talk to each other across the room. The stairs leading up to the second floor are a bit narrow and steep, so we tell people to be careful. Sometimes we have samples of the things we export sitting in the corner in cardboard boxes. We do not have any fancy decorations. It is just a place to work. Most of our clients we never even see in person, we just talk on the phone or through email. We just try to make sure nothing gets stuck at the port. It is a lot of tracking numbers and deadlines. We take our breaks at the local tea stall downstairs. It is a quiet, simple life here in the office.
