We are located at A-2, Phase II on Udyog Marg in Sector-2. The Handicrafts & Handlooms Exports Corporation of India Limited is basically a big hub for all sorts of goods. Our building is more of a warehouse than anything else. It’s filled with crates, boxes, and the smell of raw materials. We don't have any fancy displays or a showroom for people to walk through. It’s a working site. Most of our time is spent checking lists and making sure the exports are ready to go. Udyog Marg is a noisy street with plenty of trucks moving in and out of the different sectors. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up. We’ve got a small office corner where we handle the paperwork, but most of us are out on the floor moving things around. We aren't here to give you a polished marketing talk. We just handle the handlooms and handicrafts that come our way. It’s a lot of physical work and the days can be long. We’ve been in Phase II for quite a while, so we know how the logistics around here work. We just show up, do the heavy lifting, and try to keep everything moving out the door on time. It’s a straightforward operation for people who aren't afraid of a little hard work. We keep the fans running and just get through the day together.
